The first prototype kickstand bracket was installed on the Falkonworks Hayabusa. It fit great and worked as intended.

This first prototype was manufactured from 6061 Aluminum, and due to what I believe to be a combination of material selection and the increased outward angle of the Falkonworks design, there was some slight flex in the bracket as the weight of the motorcycle was applied. I have decided to instead use 7075 Aluminum for this bracket. Some areas have been beefed up as well compared to the original design and I added some vertical ribs for better load distribution when weight is applied.

You can toggle before and after photos below to see the changes.

You may also notice that the mounting hardware in these photos is different than the first renders. I have slimmed down the bolt designs to a more low profile appearance. Weight is almost exactly the same as the original design but I prefer this cleaner look. Material selection for hardware is still 6AL-4V Titanium and hardware samples are currently in production.

This new prototype bracket will be heading out to production soon.
